Tribute - Perry Davies
On behalf of Burnham Lions Club, we were saddened to hear of the passing to higher service on 5th February 2021, of our esteemed friend Perry Davies.
Perry epitomised the values of a sense of community with his unstinting passion & dedication in ensuring that Burnham Park Hall was at the forefront of Burnham activities.
This was vividly displayed with his support & dedication over many years, playing a key role with the success of Lions Christmas Fayre & Parade evenings. Burnham Park Hall were the focal point of the early evening music & dance entertainment on the green, before the Parade, Lighting up the Village in fine style, on these occasions.
It was my pleasure to award Perry in January 2019, fittingly at Burnham Park Hall with Lions Centennial Certificate of Appreciation, signed by our Patron HRH Countess of Wessex. A glass plaque for Burnham Park Hall was also presented, as a recognition of their fine contribution to the community of Burnham. We are especially indebted for their close support & partnership with Burnham Lions Club, during these years.
We extend our sincere condolences to his family & friends.
