Europa Young Musician Competition

The Burnham Lions Club enjoyed seeing the young musician they sponsored progress well in the 2006 Lions Europa Young Musician Competition. We are currently seeking a young classical guitarist to sponsor in the 2010 competition with the district final to be held in February 2010 and the Europa final to be held in Bologna.

The set piece in the competition will be. Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750): Prélude, Gavotte I + II from the suite for lute, BWV 995.

The candidate must be no older than twenty three on the 1st January 2010.
